BEW – Elementor Addons, Templates & AI Builder is completely free, with no license key or account needed. This guide covers every way to install & Update it, plus what to expect the first time you activate it.
Installing the Plugin #
BEW can be installed a few different ways, depending on your setup and access level. Whether you’re installing directly from the WordPress Plugin Directory, uploading a ZIP file, or using FTP, all three methods result in the exact same plugin — pick whichever fits your workflow.
Requirements #
- WordPress 6.9 or later
- PHP 7.4 or later
- Elementor active — BEW is an Elementor addon, so Elementor itself must be installed and active. WooCommerce is not required to install BEW itself, only for the WooCommerce-specific widgets and modules.
Method 1: Install from the WordPress Plugin Directory #
The quickest way, since BEW is listed on WordPress.org.
- In your WordPress admin sidebar, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
- Search for “BEW” or “Bosa Elementor for WooCommerce”.
- Click Install Now on “BEW – Elementor Addons, Templates & AI Builder”, then click Activate.

Method 2: Upload the Plugin ZIP #
If you’ve downloaded the plugin ZIP file directly.
- In your WordPress admin sidebar, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
- Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
- Click Choose File and select the BEW ZIP file from your computer.
- Click Install Now, then Activate Plugin.
Method 3: Upload via FTP #
Useful if your server blocks direct plugin uploads through wp-admin.
- Unzip the downloaded plugin file on your computer.
- Connect to your web server using an FTP client (such as FileZilla).
- Upload the unzipped bosa-elementor-for-woocommerce folder into your site’s
/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Back in your WordPress admin, go to Plugins, find BEW in the list, and click Activate.
After Activation #
The first time you activate BEW, you’re taken straight to the BEW Dashboard to get oriented.
Note: If Elementor isn’t active, you’ll see the notice “BEW requires Elementor plugin to be active. Please activate Elementor to continue.” Install and activate Elementor first if you haven’t already.

Updating the Plugin #
Since BEW is listed on WordPress.org, updates work exactly like any other WordPress plugin — no separate download or manual reinstall required. When a new version is released, it’ll appear under Plugins → Updates in your WordPress admin. Click Update Now, and BEW updates in place, with your existing settings and configurations preserved.

Frequently Asked Questions #
