The Reading Progressbar module adds a thin bar to the edge of the page that fills up as a visitor scrolls down — a common way to show how much of an article or page is left to read.
Note: This module requires an active BEW Pro license.
Where to Configure It #
Like Back to Top and the Site Preloader, this is a site-wide module configured in Elementor’s Site Settings, not a widget placed on individual pages.
- Open any page in the Elementor editor.
- Click the hamburger menu (☰) in the editor’s top-left corner, then choose Site Settings.
- Select the BEW Reading Progressbar tab.

Note: There’s no on/off switch — the bar shows on every page once BEW Pro is active and Elementor has a Site Settings kit. These settings control its position and appearance, not whether it appears.
Content Settings #
- Position — Top (default) or Bottom of the page.
- Fill Direction — Left to Right (default) or Right to Left.
- Height — a responsive slider for the bar’s thickness (defaults to 7px).

Styling #
- Fill Background — a color or gradient group control for the filled portion of the bar (defaults to a solid blue,
#086abd). - Track Color — the color of the unfilled track behind it (defaults to light gray,
#e5e5e5). - Border Radius — a responsive control for rounding the bar’s corners.
- Box Shadow group control.
- Z-index — defaults to 9999, in case another fixed element (like a sticky header) needs to sit above or below it.
